TCS Art Show is a HUGE Success

The TCS Art Show on Saturday, April 23rd was a huge success! Art was displayed from all 9 of our classrooms all around our playground spaces and families and faculty members had the chance to see the art, as well as socialize on a beautiful Saturday. The artwork included group projects and individual works, sculptures, a quilt, suncatchers, and paintings. We had the C&C Coffee Truck on hand to offer coffee, baked goods, and ice cream for sale. The art was amazing, the weather was perfect, and so many families participated! It was great to finally have a community event–our first big event since COVID began! I hope families enjoyed this chance to meet other TCS families. We will definitely do this event out-of-doors next year.

This year we also had our PS and PreK-aged students make blue and yellow beaded Peace bracelets in advance of this event. These were offered for ‘sale’ for a donation to UNICEF to support their work with the children of Ukraine. At the end of the art show we had raised $332.00 for this great cause.

Thanks to all our TCS families and faculty who joined the fun!
